Use a third party dll like bass (http://www.un4seen.com/) or FMOD (http://www.fmod.org/)

BASS is free for FREEWARE games, $100 for SHAREWARE and $995+ for COMMERICAL games

FMOD is around the same.

There is an OGG DLL, by someone who's name I've forgotten - however, they haven't converted it into a plug-in yet.

It´s a pity, DBPro doesnt provide any commands for this. With DBC and Enhancement Pack you could use eax effects. They should include something similar in DBPro.

Do u know if ogg.dll include support for those effects?

you even bother reading the manual?
DarkBASIC Enhanced & Professional both have EAX 1.0 incorportated.

problem is not every card is EAX compliment - EAX 2.0 is the one which included the features for actually editing the effects properly ... and EAX 3.0 is very limited supported (infact only the Audigy2 cards support it)

not to mention the BASS and Oggvorbis SDKs DO NOT support the features you seek.

Im agree with u, but since early creative´s bother the EAX exist. The only i want is use defaults effects like reverberations, do u remember in SB 64V and later the demo of EAX? A dog who bark with differents reverberations in bathroom, in cave,...

That´s i need. Thank u.

Well it's really not a simple task to achieve without simply using the presets because as i've said anything cept EAX 2.0+ don't actually allow you to control these things.

I'd say don't worry about it for now just use a 3D Sound and wait a few months for Patch/Update 6.x

--- ---

else you could try to make your own, DirectX's SDK is available and you could edit sounds with DirectSound ... OpenAL is another one which utilises EAX itself.
Miles Sound System & Dolby THQ Sound also are good but you need Licenses.
But they're not by far simple.
