First of all, I would change the title to "Cannot get Dark GDK to work" If you use "Help" No one will answer.
Next, Please post it on the Dark GDK thread. It is down a few topics when you begin at the home screen.
Also give a few examples of what you ahve tried. I had to install another free program to make mine work.
Hope this helps.

3 I have all the visual express ediions and I have good programming skills. but this is confusing, I can't get a sample code (like dark duengons code) it won't compile and link. I havent really tried anything els because I don't know what the hell could be wrong with it.

Not really - people in the GDK forum use the GDK. This is the DBPro newcomers forum.

Plus, when you do post there, it might be a good idea to let people know the actual error messages you are getting.
