Can i access the GUI for the windows based apps through GDI32.DLL and Kernal32.DLL and the USER32.DLL...or even can i use these for anything useful at all. I keep hearing people talk about user32.dll but i dont know what these things have uses for...

Well, some of them. But the most interesting stuff, no.

Anything that doesn't need a callback function is fair game though.

Why no try out RobK's plug-in? It gives you access to the menus and various windows gadgets.
