u5.3 screwed up my Professional, so I had to uninstall. The only prob is when I go to uninstall it says..

Processor: Athlon 2600+ XP
OS: Windows XP Home Edition
Speed: 2.08 GHz
GFX: nVidia GeForce 4 MX DDR 64MB
RAM: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 120 GB
Direct X: 9.0

Any help here?

Sure thing

Just run 'setup.exe' directly from the CD and it gives you the choice to uninstall.

If I remember correctly, you need to delete everything in your TEMP directory.

yep, i had the same problem just a couple of days ago, and i found running the setup program off the cd works.
