Okay, I am totally lost as to how to modify character models, and I don't want to spend tons of money for modeling software. Is there anyway to do this thats simple and cost effective? Thanks for your input.

Milkshape 3d is as simple and as cost effective as you're gonna get.

You cannot save your model though unless you are willing to pay for it or you could get a serial/keygen or crack (Illigally though so I do not recomend)
