1.) make a cube.
2.) make another cube and scale it so it's big.
3.) press Z to switch to wireframe
4.) go to the physics tab (F7 then physics (the ball bouncing off a plane?))
5.) select the little cube and click fluid
6.) select fluid (next to domain)
7.) select the big cube
8.) choose domain
-------optional---------
make a object in the big box (below the small cube)
------------------------
9.) select the big cube
10.) choose bake
11.) play the animation (alt + A)
12.) you may want to make a texture for the water and the other object(s)
13.) render the animation

hope i helped

This is a nice little step-by-step guide for those that have never used Blender's fluids, but I think this would help people a lot more if you went through and explained the various fields, such as Volume Init, Boundary Type, etc. Obviously someone can look those up in the Blender manual if they're really curious, but keep that in mind for future tutorials.

i don't know much about them.

i don't like to explain to much because most people will just..... not read the tutorial. i even skip the long tutorials.

The point of a tutorial isn't for the reader to end up with a 15-second animation which they know nothing about, it's to give the reader a better understanding of a specific topic. You're not doing that here. You're telling the reader what to do, with no explanation as to why it works and how you can change it. In fact you don't even explain how to create obstacles, which are one of the most important aspects of fluids! TBH I don't think you should be writing a Blender fluids tutorial at this point. You need to do a bit of research first.

Wow, that was really helpful. Thanks for the brief explanation and the water is really awesome.

Despite what other people told you above, id like some more of such simple effect tutorials if possible.

Thanks.
