I made a nice render of some dice that I made. Total scene tris = 50 (2 of which are the ground).

Crit?

Thanks! It wasn't planned to be shiny, but the render was lacking something, so I added a reflection to it.

Um... no. I was experimenting with normal maps. You should give it a try--I posted a thread named "Introduction to Normal Maps", you should give it a hit.

You should have mentioned that. All you said was that you had made a nice render of some dice, which makes you sound quite bored.

As lazerus said, there isn't much to crit on. It's a couple cubes with a dice texture + normal map. I'd say the dice should have rounded/beveled edges and shouldn't be so shiny. That's about it.

I was just seeing what I could do with a primitive cube. I'm starting work on some other 3D objects now, specifically a skateboard at this point.

I actually wanted more crit on the render than the model, as in lighting setup and model placement, etc. Thanks for your advice though.

Looks pretty coolio. Only crit is that some of the sides look dull, and some look shiny. But other than that, nice render.

Pretty simple IMO...BUT! effective...

No one knows just what has become of her, Shattered, dull, desperate, oh so innocent and delicate. But too damn obdurate, And obstinate to let go!
