Dark GDK / Correcting brightness lightmaps problem.

When I use a shader ("lighten.fx") on a terrain, it loses it's lightmap, it also does this when I use the 3rd parameter in dbLoadObject to 3, any fix for this? it works on boxes, why not terrains? (exported from 3dws)
