I think its a stupid holiday. (like all holidays)
Let's celebrate our independence by setting off firecrackers in the dryest part of the year.
You might as well just go set the forrest fires and be done with it.

What independence? From King George and his taxes?

We now have more than 40,000 pages of tax code, and you will lose your property and freedom if your taxes are not paid.

Go ahead and celebrate though, because like i say...

Happy 4th everyone!!

I don't hold much of the meaning behind this day anymore, I just like it cuz it's the one day you can set off fireworks in the middle of the night and no one can come yell at you about it!

Freedom is great and all, but that doesn't mean a thing on the Internet. I can't exercise my freedom of speech on an international board like this one.

Conjured, your post made me wish I had went to one of those freedom-tea parties. Oh well, It's over now, too bad. Happy be-lated July 4th Americans. Our ancestors kicked the British out of our country so that we could get on a forum run by them. XD
