Alright, I posted this in the posting competition last night, but I really wanted to share it with everyone, because it is just so awesome!

Wow, something really cool just happened on my walk. Ive been taking late night walks to clear my mind recently. Every single time, its either been really foggy, or raining on me. Tonight it was clear, but still cloudy, no stars. I was sitting in a field, and saw a fire fly go by. The firefly was GREEN! Ive only ever seen orange ones before, so it perked my interest. I followed it, trying to catch it in my hands. I almost had it, but then it shot upwards, and my head went up to track it. Except that then it just disappeared, and I saw the clouds part in the sky, and the stars come out. No joke. It was SO cool. Must have been a sign or something

Just one of those stop and think moments. The world is full of crazy sequences that make you wonder. Any one ever have anything like this ever happen to them?

EDIT:
I should probably also mention that when I left the part of the field I chased the fire fly to, you couldnt really see through the gap in the clouds anymore. It was like I was lead there.

Strange, every single fire fly I have ever seen has been green. I live in Michigan though and that's probably just how they are. I have never seen an orange one before.

There are 170 different species of fireflies in North America. Some of them are bound to have different colors.

I dont follow fireflies (do you get fireflies in england?) but i have noticed that sometimes something will happen which to me is seemingly insignificant, then later, sometime even a month later, ill find out that that insignificant something often helps out a lot, or is a huge hinderance to me

Monk, I live in England and I've never seen a firefly. I don't think we have them here.

Yeah its probably just the climate difference. I live right by Lake Huron so maybe the green ones like water idk.

If I get the chance I will take a picture of my yard at night. Their is at least a 1,000

On the other hand, you have a lot of evil dangerous creatures, like snakes and spiders, that can practically kill you on sight, or a least irritate you to the point of suicide.

I'm talking about the tourists of course.
