Yes, it does. Read the Assistance panel. I've changed the drop down now anyway so it's less confusing. You still have to do a bit of mental math though, but hey if you can't handle substracting or adding less than 12 to a value, what are you doing programming?

Fixed.

3) "In the bottom-left cornor of IE it says Error on Page"

Only in Slimline mode. Fixed now anyway.

You've not set your time offset.

Fixed - chops off after 26 characters now, looks ok I think.

6) "the forum doesn't stay maximized"

No idea what you're talking about! Sorry.

Also changed today:

1. DBPro menu link goes to forum home page, not dbpro forum.
2. forum main page takes up less room now (much less room).
3. Password changing for mods works

I wonder if it does that as I'm uploading new versions of the files. It's highly possible. That file is 29k in size and even on ADSL takes a bit to upload (as in a few seconds) so I would imagine it quite easy to time a reply to happen at the same time.

Either that or it does it all the time (which I'll find out in a moment when I click post!).

There is still a problem with the time offset though. See, I'm at Sydney time, which is GMT +10. The server is at GMT - 4.

This means my time offset is server time +14, which isnt available. So i have to choose server-10, which puts me at the right time, but a day behind.

Untitled 2d racing/fighting game (approx. 4% complete)

ah, that makes sense actually. it would probably be a lot easier just to change server time to GMT, after all i'd say 99% of forums out there are default at gmt.

anyway rich, when you say animated you mean a cartoon yeah? i'd much rather have a little mpeg or something

thats a great idea for a new db community site, if anyone has any spare time on their hands, DB-p0rn.com

Ah well I give up then. It works fine in Mozilla now where before it did that weird menu thing. And yes, it's fixed on every "page" of the site (there is only 1 page, the content is bought into it regardless of section).

Yeah I've seen that happen a few times, not entirely sure what the hell it is. If you close your browser and come back to the same page again it's gone. Very very weird.

Found a wierd bug, there are some problems with downloading files. For instance I clicked on the ModPlayer Program in the showcase and although the file starts downloading automatically I tend to Right Click and choose Save File As to specify where to save to anyway, when I do this I get a "The site is not found" error, clicking on the link will get a "This Page Cannot be Found" error. But putting the link in something like DAP will download it fine. Finally, I've checked the source and the URL in the link and the Auto-Download URL match. This happens with all downloads and is very strange, might be some sort of Anti-Leeching script you're running.

I'm not sure I'd class it as a bug Exeat - it's just not the way you're meant to download the files. When you see a download link if you click it, it'll register the download for your download tracker and our hit counter and then redirect to the download script which uses the meta refresh trick to kick off the download. So right-clicking a download would I imagine try to save the script in the middle of this process? Not sure, but I can't see it working. If you want to use a Download Manager then the easiest way is to just click the download link as usual and when the browser pop-up appears asking you where to save the file, cancel it and use the link that appears on that page (the one saying if you have trouble downloading, click here). You can right-click that link without any troubles.

Yeah, that's the problem. Foolishly I have accidentally clicked "Yes to all" when that message box pops up and now I no longer have that option choose where to save the file and it proceeds to download to some Temp folder which is impossible to find. Unfortunately throughout all my searching I haven't found a way to reenable the option and hence why I now have to right click every link.

Ahh.. nice I'm not entirely sure what to suggest, there must be a way to reset it within IE (or at least the registry). But I don't personally know of it.

At the beginning and end of the page there is sentence saying:


There are "" threads/messages in total -
Page No. (written) of No (scroll)

Should that by the other way round
i.e.

Page No (scroll to page) of No (written - total number of pages)


so that we can go to any page.

Yes it should be the other way around, but you can still use it to go to any page even as it is.

I had to reformat to install new hardware so it doesn't happen anymore but thanks anyway, now I know how to get rid of it if I accidentally click it again lol.
