I wasn't aware that USEWEAPON took a value.

Quote: "USEWEAPON fires any weapon held by an entity in the direction of the target"

I thought so too but I opened throw10.fpi (for characters with grenades) and I found two different uses for it (useweapon=30) and (useweapon=60)

here's the script

any ideas?

The number after 'useweapon=' determines the fire strength of the shot.

And the line in the FPSC source:

This line 'aiactionseq(seq).value' is the number that is put after the 'useweapon='

let me see if I got this right, say the normal weapon damage is 20.. if I write useweapon=10 it would be 200?

No, it seems you can set the firestrength lower than the normal strength, here's the full section of code from FPSC-Source:

Are you sure that that part of the throw10.fpi script has been integrated into X9 yet? Also, this seems to have only to do with throw/grenade, and not firing weapons, so would that be the throwing distance?

@knxrb: oh so the default value (when I call useweapon with no customization) is 100 Thank You
but still I think it's pretty usless and very unreal especially for grenades

@xplosys: yes cause I don't even have x10, and no it has nthn to do with the firing distance, it's is controlled by the flakspec file..
