Hay, does darkgdk.net work on the new windows 7. And also does VB 2008 work on the new Windows 7

VB 2008 works on the new windows for sure, but I'm not sure about DarkGDK.NET... Don't see why it wouldn't, as long as you have the correct DX version.

DarkGDK.NET uses the native DarkGDK C++ libraries. If they work under Windows 7, then DarkGDK.NET will as well.

As fore mentioned, you do still require DirectX v9.0c

I am running VS 2008 C# and C++ with Dark GDK for C++ and DarkGDK.net for C# just fine on Win 7 RC.

The only thing I've had to be careful about is to run the installer as administrator and setup some of the shortcuts to run as admin.

I am running DBPro 7.4, DarkGDK 7.3, and DarkGDK.NET with VS 2008 Pro Just fine under Win 7RC 64-bit. Only thing is I have to launch DBPro IDE as Administrator. So they all run just the same as in Vista as far as I can tell.
