For some reason, whenever I render any 3D model, the screen turns like this: and when I hit the escape button on my keyboard, the screen goes back to normal. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem or what's going on?

Does it only look like that in the preview window or also in the render window?

The preview window, and for some reason it stopped popping up the render window, so only the preview window.

That's odd, maybe its your hardware? Maybe reinstall and check the requirements

F10 -> Output tab, very bottom. Under Save Buffers button, does it say Render Window?

I tried the other two options on my project but it doesn't quite turn out like yours does. However, Blender has many options for rendering, you probably accidentally hit something. I just don't know what right now

You probably hit some button in your render settings that did this, I'd recommend just re-installing to bring settings to default.

Suprisingly enough it did. I changed it to full screen, and it rendered, but not in the same way I wanted, and then I changed the option back to render window and it rendered fine! I really have no idea what happened, but as long as everything is fixed, i'm fine .

glad to hear I helped!

Maybe it's just an OpenGL thing... continuum lags horribly when Blender's open 'cause they both use the same pipeline. Maybe you had something up earlier that did that.
