Programming Talk / C++ / C# - Starting C++.NET

Can anyone recommend any good online tutorials for starting C++.NET? I have a solid understanding of C++ and want to start developing native windows applications. I also have a foundation in Visual Basic, so I can grasp the concept of forms, using buttons and other form controls, etc.

Thanks for any help on the subject,

Do you mean C++/CLI? But you can write native windows apps without C++/CLI (which is a slightly different language).

Like, I go into Visual Studio, click New Project, then "Windows Forms Application". It creates a basic template of a .NET application (it's a form which you can graphically add buttons and different components). I want to pick up how to "get around" in that (ie. how to code the buttons, interact with different components and component properties, etc.) - I could probably figure the rest of it out myself.

You should look into Windows Presentation Foundation or search msdn.


If at first you dont succeed, call it version 1.0.
