amazingly, i didn't see the vibrant red text that said "You MUST update to 1.0.9 BEFORE updating to 1.0.9.2" until after I had already updated the editor to 1.0.9.2. will there be any problems because of this?

I dont know, I should think there will be problems or they wouldn`t have put that red text up there if it didn`t matter, just remove and re-install the lot, if you try to get clever and use some fancy trick it may work, or it may delete your code permanently after line 1000 with no warning at a later date, better to be safe than sorry, don`t forget to backup your projects 1st.
