Just to discuss 2 bugs well...1 and 1/2

Firstly the input bug which was said to be fixed(underscored letters) has not been fixed, it still looks as crappy as ever.

and

i havnt reported this yet cus its not really a bug but hidden windows arenot hidden very well.
if you execute a "hiden" file as in hidden property in the ide and run the program youll notice the window in the taskbar still appears before disapearing, i dont call this hidden, is there anything that can be done abomut this, or are we stuck with a window which is technically hiden but still appears in the taskba for a few seconds.
if anyone wants proof if this they can take a look at a screen recording of it.(the file is an exe cus it contains the codec) it is not a virus!

ill soon post up a screen shot of the underscore input marks

What you're seeing re the window isn't the window not being hidden, it happens on all DBPro programs when they start-up. Depending on how much data they have to unpack, etc.

Cheers,

well is it possible to get rid of this.. non of the vb or delphi or windows applications have to do this...so why does dbpro have to do it? i mean yes the window is hidden but it just looks rather untidy to have to see the application run accross the taskbar and then disapear.

thx

@TerraByte

If you use external media then the delay should be very short. Unfortunately it won't be easily possible to hide this window as it is shown before the user's code begins execution.

hmm
i am using external media actually
but the way i have the window hidden isnt in the code by saying hide window, if it was i would expect to see the window, but this has ben set in the settings panel in the ide
anyway forget that what about my underscored input statement
