Hey, What is up with angles in U5 . When I rotate my object using "turn object left" by 1 then print the y angle, it comes out like this...

-90 to 0 to 90 to 0

and not like what I would expect...

0
90
180
270

Does anyone else find this? I don't think it used to do this in U4, am I doing something serious stupid? Please take a look at the code...

Thanks

To tell you the truth, I thought it was supposed to rotate it 1 degree

???

It does, but shouldn't it go from 1 to 360 instead of -90 to 0 to 90 to 0?

Has anyone tried the source code?

I game no longer works, and I think this is the problem.

I found out what the problem is. U5 has messed up angles. So when I was using "newxvalue" it didn't work. Could someone look at the code below, and see if it works.

This did not happen in P4.1, it seems that in P4.1, TURN OBJECT... wrapped angles round 360, whereas YROTATE object did not. I think it would be better if the behaviour of TURN OBJECT in relation to OBJECT ANGLE Y() was the same as YROTATE.

The 90...0...-90 system is annoying indeed.

Moved to the bug report forum.

[EDIT - Or at least I would move it but the option is no longer there]
