I hardly think so, considering that it is the clothing worn by many of the Al Qaeda leaders, including Bin Laden...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

I know, but it's hardly racist since the Al-Qaeda wear them as well, because they are also Islamic, only, they are a different section to most...

This phrase is said by all muslims it means (There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) and using it on a character whom will be shot to ground is offensive to the islamic religion.. it's like a jew shooting down christians wearing a T-shirt with the phrase (In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen)..

the enemy should be specified, in this case alqaida terrorism.. so don't make ur case more general and include all muslims and middle east.. u should express ur opinion however u want but with respect to other religions weather if it's for muslims, christians or jews..

Thank You..

well, i'm not arguing with anyone, byt i think Bibo4PC might be right.
the shahadah (there is no god but allah and muhhamed is his messenger)
is a sacred smybol used by muslims and it might be offensive to put it on a video game character.
I suggest putting something meaningless there instead.

Coming soon: what lies beneath.

Rubbish. If people are offended by playing a game in which you shoot someone who has a common religious message on it, they are shallow and over the top. I'm not offended by people who shoot white people, or children, or atheists. There really shouldn't be a problem except political correctness gone mad.

Offense is taken by the one who is receiving and perceiving the message, regardless of the authors intent.

In other words, if I find the word "hello" to be offensive because it has the word hell in it, then does that mean everyone should stop saying it?

You should be able to speak your mind and express yourself without having others telling you not to because they are offended.

Your beliefs should not dictate the beliefs or rights of others including speech and expression.

If you have the right to love allah then anyone else has the right to hate him.

You have your beliefs, and I have mine.

There should be more religious tolerance because acceptance is the key to understanding.

well I guess I know now what Aaagreen meant by saying these topics turn into flame wars

Conjured am gonna let u read the entire topic before jumping into conclusions and reading the reason why I was refering to this point in the first place..

just wanna add one thing, if u wanna talk about the freedom of opinion, even if u don't belive in god u should respect the ones who do, no one is obligating anything ur free to belive in wutever u want as long as u don't insult other religions..
