I know its been talked about before, but the subject kind of flopped, and as iam more from the graphics/game design it is important to me. So ill repost it I was wondering if the Vertex colours are now brought into DBPro via a .x model. Pervious attempts screwed the mesh up big time using the previous patch. Lol sadly I cant test it at the my lightwave dongle is getting sent off to be swapped for a usb dongle :/. Anyways I would hope at least that dbpro dosent mess the model up and ignores vertex data at best. If i can find it tonight ill post the test code i used. Attempted a direct export lightwave to .x, and also Unwrap to .x. Both came back into Unwrap fine, Vertex colours everywhere. Anyone tried them out recently with our lubbly jubbly v5? Hard coding Vertex Colours is not something I want to get into when I can paint them on with an airbrush Iam expecting a 'Its not supported post', but i personally think it should be supported.
