Use fragmotion. Less bugs and is super easy to rig in.

He stood like a stone wall, not only in battle, but also for the Lord

Just load the stock (with hands) m4 carbine/commando model into fragmotion, import the Thompson and assign the parts to the correct bones. Then erase the M4 parts of the model.

I think this will only work for holding the thompson but not for the realoading animations.

It works fine, I've done it before with my own models. I wouldn't have posted if I wasn't sure it could be done.

Hoping I'm not bumping, but I have been wondering if this Thompson will be avaitable to the public. I would like the Thomspon for my WWII game, so you're not stuck with just an M1 Garand.

The William Broshac Adventures, coming to some place I put them near you.

I already rigged the stock thompson, I'll post it up when I've sorted the gunspec out.

Ok, here it is. Consider this a beta. It should work fine but I am liable to miss a few things, so testing would be appreciated.

ok, i downloaded the files, and put the "tommy gun" folder in gamecore\guns\ww2. when it said "replace files" i pressed "yes to all".
i then ran FPSC, and it worked.

what you might want to try is closing FPSC and eunning the fpsc cleaner, that might help.

you'll probably need to delete HUD.dbo as well, because what you've described suggests that the new gunspec is being read.
