I have two questions about huds...
First one:
Is it possible for a hud to appear when you click/pick up a dynamic entity?

Second:
I made a gas mask hud,is it possible for the hud to appear and disappear when you press the button "G".If so,is it possible that the hurt zone is inactive when you have the gas mask hud on (the hurt zone doesn't hurt you when you have the hud on).

Thanks for your time

Absolutely. In fact, this is what happens when you pick up any weapons in the game. You pick up the weapon, and when you do a message stating "You have picked up a weapon" is displayed. Check out the FPI files for the different weapons to see how this is implemented.

You need to check for the player pressing the "G" key, and not whether the HUD is displayed, but yeah, you can do this. In the hurt zone, just add the logic to check if the key is being pressed. If it is, don't do any damage.

Thanks Leon!
But,I don't really know what you mean by "check for the player pressing the "G" key"
Mind explaining me what you meant?

Hello Zay333,

here's the gasmask script, the only thing that you have to edit is the imagepath:

And here's the edited plrhurtinzone script:

I haven't tested them, but they should work, however, a version higher than 1.08 is required because of the used variable commands.
