This is old news, but anyways,...

Okay basically you should record somebody's first time reaction to the easter egg from Tower of Illusion.

This is what you do.

1. Point camera at the viewer's face.
2. Have them run Tower of Illusion.
3. Once they reach the main menu, tell them to press F12
4. Record their reaction
5. Post it on youtube and let us all see the reaction.

Good luck

The easter egg is... not suitable for those under 18.

The easter egg is like a Hot Coffee Mod for GTA: San Andreas.

It is AO material, but I bet a bunch of teenagers downloaded the game, got a bunch of friends, saw the "easter egg" and dunno...

I checked the author's thread history and found out that they created an "adult viewer", which is quite disturbing. Mike Inel (that's the user), is the one who is responsible.

The adult viewer is censored, but there is a way to uncensor, (read the whole thread)...

Not a funny idea, stupid, and inappropriate. If seeing what I think the easter egg was (nudity) provokes a funny reaction, then perhaps you need to mature a little bit?

No it wasn't just nudity, it looked like Tthe Hot Coffee Mo (google it up).

Here's the link to Illusion of the Tower (it works, I downloaded it yesterday):

Who cares what it was? The point is that it's stupid and inappropriate, especially for these forums. Wish I knew how you got off post moderation so fast.

Mike Inel got his entry removed from the NVIDIA Competition because some 12-year old discovered it.

People thought he was a pervert, but I just posted this just to see some reactions...

Exactly. And there might be some 12 year old kids reading this thread right now.

Anyway, I don't want to rekindle the debate about what Mike did, but all I'll say is that this sort of thing in a topic doesn't seem appropriate to me, and like I've said 2-3 times now, it's stupid, immature, and inappropriate.

I might wake up tomorrow and everyone will have disagreed with me, or I might wake up to a locked thread. We'll see.

I don't even understand what all this is about. What is Tower of Illusion anyways? Oh, googled it and found it was for the NVIDIA compo... A little slow on the uptake there lol. Wait, it's "Illusion of the Tower", not "Tower of Illusion"! It looks awesome.

Latch, Lee Bamber, TDK, TheComet

Yeah but the name was Tower of Illusion, but Mike changed the name, and plus this happened two years ago, but I wasn't on the forums back then.

If a 12-year old is reading this, I bet they're downloading the game right now.

What happens when you're thread gets locked?

lol you're worried about your thread getting locked. You should be. Well, the actual locking of the thread doesn't hurt anyone, but then the mods can decide what to do with the people who posted in it. *gulp* Well, you'll just have to wait and see.

What happens when you are thread gets locked is that you can't post in it anymore, except the mods. The thread will be read-only, unless a mod decides to un-lock it again. I've seen that happen once.

Sometimes, when you get a thread locked, a noob-slap can follow if you were naughty enough.

Probably both.

I don't have a problem with adult content. In fact i quite like it. However, it should be disclosed so that age ratings are appropriate. I'm totally against censorship and believe that the concept of "refused classification" is a load of balls, but believe in age ratings. If something's rated PG (like the game compo, or this site), it shouldn't have adult content on it, because that's what many parents would expect of it.

Anyway the ladies in IotT weren't that fit anyway.

Yeah not to mention Mike Inel made an adult viewer which is just as naughty as the easter egg.

The thread locked because it was inappropriate. The mod said that a lot of kids would go checking out the thread.

How did you even get this game? I thought it was wiped off the face of the earth, and TGC's server.

I don't think Mike would appreciate an old wound being opened again. Why talk about this further?

Yeah, seriously, how did you get this? You really shouldn't have put it back up, it was (nearly) destroyed for a reason...

If that was an answer to my question, I meant your responce to the easter egg, not the game, lol

---

But more seriously, did you think that posting the adult viewer link without much warning was a good idea, when a mod already explained that under 18's would look at it?

Mike Inel was a genius, so he uploaded a Rapidshare link.

Evidencehref][/href]

Look at the last post on page 9 of the thread, you'll see the link.

I've never heard of IOTT until yesterday, so I wanted to see why the game got banned.
If you wanted to remove the easter egg:
1. go to the IOTT folder, there should be a sub-folder called "Events"
2. Open up the folder and find the subfolder "OMG"
3. Delete the OMG folder
4. The game is safe (i think).

Rating before: AO
Rating After: T (maybe M)
---

But all of this is Mike Inel's material, so blame him for uploading.

Yeah, nice try moron. Just because someone uploads something doesn't mean you can pointlessly link to it and blame the original uploader - I mean, you don't see everyone here including soft core porn images in their posts and saying "that guy uploaded it, blame him"

This 'issue' was already dealt with, so stop screwing around with things you know zilch about. It's done and it's in the past - I'm certain that both the community and Mike don't want you digging it back up, for no reason other than to make a spectacle and further your own "street cred". Censor your posts and stop now while you still can.

You are still discussing about this? I want lock for this thread. It is already discussed. Also i found it funny that Killing is accepted but when you see some nudity you get all mad. Also the game is one of the best ones made with DBP...

Okay I'm sorry,...

Go lock this thread I said I was sorry, I just wanted to see some reactions, but this got out of hand.

Well if I was on the forums 2 years ago, I wouldn't have brought this situation up.

I'll just wait until this thread gets locked.

In the meanwhile, IOTT is still available for download. It was one of the best I've seen in DBP.

People enjoy this sort of thing and it isn't something worth 'getting reactions' out of, I've heard of the internet memes for people to get reactions from and from what I understand of Mike Inel's work it isn't really anything major.

The guy likes to make adult content and this is NOT the place for that sort of thing, this forum has many underaged people on there and is quite family friendly. So this isn't really appropriate and I'm sure it's not a good idea to encourage people to download it and watch that sort of content.

I understand there are mods whose responsibility it is to uphold the site's TOS, but if someone's not a mod, why are they worried about it? I just don't get it.

For sure remove the links to that taboo material, but thread locking should be avoided if possible. If someone doesn't wish to read what people have to say, they shouldn't click on the thread. It's that simple!
