I've had one at home (wasn't soBig though - and was stopped by Norton), and about 4/5 at work.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

None. I haven't gotten any virus's with wow. What you do to block your e-mail from sending it is put a fake e-mail adress at the top of your adress book.

If all Sobig does is send e-mail, I think we're getting off lucky. Seriously, what is this virus' threat?

sobig can update itself.

i.e., it contacts a master server and downloads new add ons for itself, so the owner at any time could make something to delete the entire hard drive, then upload it to his/her server, then sobig will automatically download information for deleting everything off the hard drive.
