Hi all, I am going back to Slovenia next easter and I am going to buy myself an FN Scar to play with. I am looking for one, but so far I only have one that sounds good for it's price.

The one I have so far:
$200 (AUD) - Ebay
400FPS
300BB mag

I am also needing a tactical/assault scope that is less than $60 (AUD), a laser pointer that is less than $40 (AUD). I am also looking for a postol to use. I like the USP, Beretta M9 and Desert Eagle style ones, it needs to be electric and preferably metal for about $50USD.

When I come back to Australia, this will be a gift for my uncle, unless I can find a shooting range that does airsoft.
I contacted the police and they say that airsoft itself is not illegal, using it for recreation is illegal. You need a class H gun license for this particular gun. (I can get a minor gun license).

thanks

ebay sell weapons?

I have a Xm8 bretta storm. 330fps, 20rd clip, 50m pinpoint acurracy, 200m max. -(well thats the distance ive been able to hit at-( BIG target -1m square-, older Acog + iron sights, whisper extender, quick reload mag- pumps 4 bullets directly into the cartrige, load it in 10 sec flat.
1-2 inch penertration into glutios maximus- Yes i shot myself to prove a point, then i shot my friend...

And comes in a fetching flouresent orange.

£45 new with 4000 biodegrade bullets.

My .22 rifle comes on sunday, yes i am getting insured so dont worry if you live in the UK.

Might get military issue P90, Airsoft of course, not that stupid, £35 with similar kit, though only has 20m pin point 50 max, full auto, 120fps, 100rd a min. If i have both ill be a very, very hard opponent, though no-one has got past me yet in war games.

I is da best lad. - Yes i shot the person who said that to me, really should have protected his shoulder better

lol

Your looking at a good deal thier, id take it if its good nick,

It's brand new!

I have made a choice, as I can get the whole kit I need and the shipping for $295 AU. Thats:

FN Scar AEG 400FPS - $196AU
M1911 Spring 290FPS - $19AU
Assault Scope - $16AU
Postage - Approx.$60 to Slovenia

On the site for the local store in Maribor (where I will be staying - www.swat.si) the CA Scar is $690 AU and fires at 310fps i think. But if I can afford it soon, I will buy that one. I am definetly buying the pistol, it is a great deal. It might be plastic but it comes with a speed-loader and a plastic case.

thanks

What you wanna do is get a decent 2-tone AEG (not in the budget range) which you don't need a license to own. Also, make sure you're getting a proper scope. Cheap ones tend to be panzy little kiddy toys that don't really serve any use in combat.

There's such things as minor gun licenses over here now? And I thought the way they conducted firearms training was insulting...

So what IS it legal for then? Killing?

Airsoft is illegal in Australia, in all states, although in QLD they're trying to legalise it.

Wait, you said you need a category H minors permit? I hold a category H, and it's handguns only, so you might want to double check this, unless there's a difference between a minors category H and a normal one.

Some more info for you to consider:

Minors permit - "This permit does not authorise the acquisition of firearms."

Thanks, I have found a DBoys Scar that is US$100 brand new. The top part is metal, the rest is strong plastic. I hear DBoys is the best for quality and price.

-XD cant wait for that! Hopefully its before the end of this year.

Isn't there a law in the UK that states if it is trying to look realistic, 40% of the gun has to be painted red or bright colours to differentiate it from real guns?

Buy a paintballmarker instead There are some nasty kits to turn it into something cooler than just a fancy paintballgun.

80% of the gun has to be one of five flouresent colours. You of course have to be 18, am not but lets keep that quite You cant walk down the street unless you want AR chasing you with assualt shotguns- (sorry AR, armed response)

The stupidity behind these laws a amazing,

Paintball guns you have to be 21-26 to purchase and own.

BB/airsoft guns, you have to 18-21 to purchase and own

AIRRIFLES, you can be 18 to purchase and 15 to own...

Other than dropping for the cost, the guns leathality increase as you are younger. Can someone please explain this to me...

Sir with a 29-100 in progress. AR is requested at Liverpool city centre.

Suspect is armed is what appears to be a Walthier airifle,

Hold it AR command, Urgent request coming in of a Flouresent rifle being fired on a remote field 2 miles east,

[mod edit]no it seems people DON'T LEARN.... STOP STARRING OUT SWEARS, IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ON THE FORUM[/mod edit] they never learn, Move men GO GO GO

We talking about the UK here? You don't have to be 21-26 to own and purchase there is no official age limit, but shops like you to be over 12 and usually ask you to have an adult to sign if under 16.

I find it amusing that you guys are going on about laws and age restrictions, yet countless times my mates have gone down to the woods on the fringe of the village I live in to have their own (highly illegal) skirmishes (and I'd join them if I had bought an airsoft gun before blowing all my money.)

Next year when I get to Slovenia, I will be 15. So I will be able to legally own one.

thanks

And then when you eventually get caught, your life is totally messed up, and all so you could fire a few little plastic shots to try and look like men.

Not exactly. Besides, it's them doing it, not me, so if anyone gets busted, it won't be me. Personally, I'm waiting until I turn 18 so I can join airsoft clubs and use airsoft guns that aren't 2-tone.

Spewing crap since 2005!
