Okay, my first model ever is just a small, and very bad looking table that you would put a vase on. the texture is pretty streched and it deosn't look so good, but I thought it was a decent first attempt.

yes its a nice first try, but did you expect the table to be able to stand? i mean.. .with two legs its more likely to fall overXD Texture is pretty nice though=P

Good sticking to simplicity. You just started right?

Highlight the faces at the bottom of the legs, using shift, and when they're all highlighted, hit W. Then select Bevel. Should look more realistic after that.
