I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought it should go here.

Me and a friend are trying to make a multiplayer game, and we have a map ready and we have been trying to test it, however, when we both load it up, when either of us host a game and the other joins it, the one who joins the game will never join.

It always says waiting to join, and never changes.
Any help on this?

You need to make sure the other pc has the required version of DirectX as well.

Make sure both computers have port 2303 open on TCP and UDP.

Right my friend tried hosting it and it works.
Is there something I must do to my PC to allow me to host?

No problem.

It differs for each router, you need to go into your router settings, look for a bit about port forwarding and add the port forward.
Some routers do not allow port forwarding though.

We did, we left it at that for over 20 minutes, it never said on mine he was trying to join. All it said on his was that he was waiting to join.

What version of FPSC are you using?

Do you have teleporters on your map... FPSC Multiplayer cannot use teleporters in MP... or dynamic objects for the matter.

Signature's are stupid.

I am using 1.09.
Also I know about the dynamic objects, and there are no teleporters.
