Hey,

This thread will before showing work on my first ever game map... It's meant to be an abandoned warehouse that has been taken over by rebel forces.

I will be using :-

- Map-scape (Creating the actual map and lightmapping)
- Milk-shape (Making in game models)
- Poly-trans (For converting models and polygon reduction)
- cgtextures.com (For the majority of textures used)

So far i have the basic layout of the outside bit and first room of the factory.

what type of light is that in the last pic? it doesn't look like one of the default lights. is is possible to make your own types?

its a Spotlight, but you can make your own lights aswel i believe in mapscape

Right,
insted of showing pictures from inside the editor i thought i'd make a quick project so people can see the map...

I havnt finished the forklift truck textures yet... also I think the map is a little small in general? I dunno if people could let me know

WASD to move
Space to jump
Shift to run
C to crouch

Please give feedback

Cool! That looks pretty cool, how much does MapScape cost?

Map-Scape costs... NOTHING
it's free

and heres a link

MAP-SCAPE by evolved

the only problem with map-scap is it doesnt work aswel on vista... but I use xp so it doesnt matter
