...I changed the settings like this:
Dynamic Lighting = yes
Full Light mapping
Full Shader effects
Texture quality = high
ambience level = 0
ambience red = 25
ambience green = 25
ambience blue = 25

And... All characters (with and without shaders) are pitch black, whatever they are in an unlit or lit area!
Can someone tell me what's wrong?

ambience level = 0

Try changing this to something other than 0

If you get mad and want to type something nasty about another person do this-Type what you want to say in the box then press ctrl-a and hit delete then type what you should say.

I set it to 05, and still, full black. And I've used 0 before, and the characters were affected by lights...

Okay, now it works, kinda. Some shaders work, some cause characters to be all black. Also, if they dont' have shaders, they're all black.
