I think he wants to model characters and needs to know a good program. If you don't know any model programs, you probably need to start with something a little easier than characters. Anyway, this might be helpful.

It varies depending upon the user, but if your new I'd say try one of the free ones or demos out first;

*Blender

PS It might not be wise to double bump 30 minutes apart.

If you get mad and want to type something nasty about another person do this-Type what you want to say in the box then press ctrl-a and hit delete then type what you should say.
