Second real project with Maya.

Learned how to do ramp shaders and shadow buffers. I'll be leaving for college in 3 weeks now, so hopefully once I get my student ID I can get the student version of Maya and start learning animation.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.

Looks great. Banana Could use a bit of work, though

Looks pretty good. I think part of the reason the banana looks weird is the angle it's on.

i like orange

The banana was being a real pain with ramp shaders too, probably because I only modelled half of it and applied a mirrored subdiv proxy. I wasn't too worried about modelling accuracy (I did all the modelling in about 2 hours) but I focused on lighting and shading in this one, using a three-lamp setup with a different color for each lamp for a sort of warm glow, and actually have the yellow lamp projecting a light fog. It's kinda hard to see with the purple though, I probably should have upped the density a bit.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.
