DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / patch 5 wont install

i downloaded the upgrade5 patch, and when i unzip and run it, it give me an error saying "runtime error 8003 - could not find path at line 205"

i thought maybe its one of those picky patches that need to be in a certain directory, ive put it in ever DB directory i have, still nothing. and yes, i have the full version..

1) You can not install Upgrade 5 Beta 3 over Upgrade 5 Beta 2.
You have to Install Upgrade 5 Beta 3 from Patch 4.1.

2) You must have Directx 9.0b installed (run dxdiag to find out what version you have installed).

3) You must have the LATEST drivers from Nvidia's website installed.

4) Make sure than when you have DBPro reinstalled from Patch 4.1 that you upgrade to Upgrade 5 Beta 3.

5) Dbpro the language can be installed with Windows 98 and Windows ME, but it works best on Windows XP.

6) If none of this works, uninstall your DBPro completely (don't forget to back up your projects before you do this). Then reinstall from CD and reinstall the upgrade 5 non beta patch.

where do i get u4 then?

ill have to uninstall the whole thing, my source is saved on a txt file so i wont lose it.
so what are the steps i need to do?
1.install from cd
2. install u4?
3. install u5?
i have 5.0, and 5.2 beta, but no 5.3 beta.
are these downloads posted somewhere that im missing?

btw, i have an ATI Radeon card, not Nvidia.. i just installed the most recent drivers

Sorry, I just copied and pasted that in...

back up your projects
uninstall DBPro completely
reinstall DBPro from the CD
Upgrade to patch 5 (use the final release and NOT the betas).

Since you installed the most recent drivers for your ATI, you are good there.

Also make sure that you have DirectX 9.0b installed instead of 9.0 or 9.0a. Run Dxdiag.exe from START-->RUN
