Hello all,

i have now, officially (2 minutes ago) chose db to make my fps and my tps... So, i have NEVER coded in db before and was wondering if there was a tutorial... for begginners. I want to end up knowing everything there is to know about db. I want to make my own game editor, and when i do this, how do i get the game engine??? Thanks alot.

DBPro is a programming language, not a game engine or scripting system. You want a game editot or game engine, you need to code it up right from first principles.

That said, some tutorials come on the disc, and there are tons of tutorials on this forum - simply search for 'tutorial'.

I dont get the question, Wouldnt you write the engine, taking care to have it accept "script-like" Files(Maps,etc.), then make an Editor to output those files?

I agree with Dark Dragon. I'm pretty new to dbpro as you are, but I see mods finding out new things every day. You can become "knowledgeable", but not "all-knowing".

Sounds like you're actually looking for FPS creator? Game engine, editor etc is provided.

yes Chekk FPS Creator or X10 its some cind of a GameEngine with script possebility to make it even bether++ it absolutli easy to create a room with somer enemy`s and weapons but not so easy to add more weapons or diffrent rooms or what ewer
