If im not mistaken it dosn't look as if gdk will join a hosted game over an internet connection with a domain name? Ive been looking through the manual and nothing looks as if it will do it. Im looking to create an MMORPG with this but if it wont connect to an internet server il have to look else where

For the networking, You can use Multisync network plugin for DarkGDK.
You can find it here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=99188&b=5

and to connect to the server, you can simply use the host's IP address. Multisync is pretty simple and easy to use.

You can also host both client and server in the same machine if you haven't it ready for public. Then simply use the IP address of 127.0.0.1 (localhost) in both client and server.

You could also use DarkNet (see my signiture). It can be used to communicate with web servers and has a command to retrieve an IP address from a domain name (mnDNS).
