It's not possible to play fpsc games on the psp.

The user made this using a special firmware which streamed the image from the pc over to the psp display, use the search-function for more infos about that.

No that wasn't in the newsletter, but some interesting things were such as:

Quote: "Over in DBP land we added support for the VR920 device which allows you to render true stereoscopic images to a head-mounted motion-tracked device. We liked the device so much we added the same support to FPS Creator source code and iWear VR920the results are very cool indeed."

and

Quote: "Other little treats await you including new FPI commands for advanced text displays and multi-entity script logic"

but unfortunately,

Quote: "you will have to wait a little longer to get to play with those. We will hold a public beta in the usual place when the time comes"

I'd just like to make it clear that it's not running on the PSP.

Don't you think the Netbooks will overcome the PSP anyway?

I'm more interested in how well FPSC performs on those puppies.

Sounds very cool, indeed.

No, because that would imply that the PSP is actually handling the rendering itself, which it wouldn't be capable of. There is no emulation going on here, it's either a video or is connected to a computer that runs the game and streams the video.

This message on YouTube might clear it up:

"If you have custom firmware installed on you psp(i have it too) there is an app you can download that lets you access your PC,basically your pc screen shows up on your psp. nothing is really stored on the psp it self.I did it with Crysis..."

Uh, No...

PSP Dip connects to your PC through your USB cable or internet, and streams from your PC...Not renders it...

I KNOW because i use it all the time!

Yes, what I just said. Hence it's not actually running on the PSP.

I don't see the point anyway, there are zero advantages yet you have a greatly reduced screen size and can't easily access game menus and such.
