I had been looking at this recently but couldn't justify purchasing it... now it's free I'll definitely check it out.

I had 3DRad back in the version 5 days. Bad, bad. Maybe version 6 got better, but unless it got significantly better, it's probably not worth the effort.

Looks really nice!

Though, you've got to ask, with so much professional content going free, how long before there's little left to buy and money is meaningless?

I have stumbled upon this numerous times but it didn't seem worth purchasing, I might try it out now when it's free. ^^ Thanks for the enlightenment!

Just downloaded it - It's really good. Very flexible and quite easy to get used to as well - you can make a simple car game with realistic physics in minutes (The tutorial shows you how to do this) and after playing around with it for a few minutes I think I could make a very simple FPS in it already!

Apparantly you can compile your projects to something which can be embedded in a web page.

I can't get it to work for some reason. It says that the application failed to initialise. I'll try it on my other comp since the first one pretty much sucks.

Ugh, I remember trying 3D Rad out years ago, it was horrible. I remember printing out the manual and then being so disappointed when nothing worked the way it was suppose to. Deleted it, and used the manual as scrap paper .

Who knows, things could have changed though.
