Some punctuation in your sentences wouldn't hurt... And just a single thread on the subject, not two.

As for your issue, you're saying that transparent things (like blood and trees usually are) appear very bright? That does sound very strange. You say you've got the fog set high, which I assume means a thick kind of fog. Try removing it temporarily, to see if that's causing it.

Thanks Rodger wilco,I've removed the fog and turned the ambient backup, but I'm still having the same problem, all the levels look ok in test mode, but when I build the game that is when I have the problem (when I get killed and the level restarts or when I advance to a new level).

I think i know why this could be you have the error where normal maps cause objects to appear as if they have full ambiance light on them even in total darkness. I unfortunately do not have a fix for this if mgarand sees this he may have a fix as he had the issue and as far as i know doesnt now

Are there any specular maps applied, if so then they might be too bright or you might have forgotten to make the alpha channel transparent.

Make sure your alpha channel in the specular map is all black paint in photoshop so it is all black... gray or white in the specular alpha cause entities to appear lit...

Another TIP: Always make sure you delete your .bin and .dbo files between tests

Hope this helps

Thanks for your help everybody,I tried all your fixs but they didn't work, eventualy I removed all static light from level and that worked, now I,ve replaced the lights and turned their brightness down to nearly black,so its OK now.

Yes, also don't respond to a thread in which the problem has been solved already. Especially not if your response consists of no context whatsoever.
