A little project I started an hour ago. I'd like to get a few gun variations modeled, textured, and animated and throw them into FPS Creator one day.

Still a lot of work to be done, obviously; I'm just looking for any constructive critisism I don't model "guns" too often.

I had a paintball gun, then i got told i needed to be 26 to use it -_-*

The mesh is pretty clean, some wasted polies, but thats to be expected without refinement.

Keep it up, ill crit after thier done lol

Looks good, but the ASA (piece the CO2 tank hooks up to) should have a flat top, so that it can screw into the handle, and the rear sight should be longer and thicker.

@Lazerus - who said you needed to be 26? Where do you live? Here in the US, it doesn't matter (as far as i know)

Different type of guns to the UK ones I've seen here, Over here we have what looks like a big bottle bolted to the top of the gun.

When I can draw somethings as good then I'll make comments about it.

Ha I see, thought you had found one that used a clip, which would make them too realistic.

lol the one i had phfff

Support fire thats all ill say thier,

Oh as for the laws,

paintball gun marker 21 - 26/ own - fire

Bb gun/rifle (under .22) 18 - 21/ own - fire

Air rifle .22+ 18 - 21/ own - fire

Air rifle less than .22 14 - 16/ own - fire

Laughed at this .22 + and under will still kill someone, bb rifle @320fps hurts alot, peirce the skin, not leathal, paintball gun non leathal bruises...

Stupidity at its best!

Well, RAP4 makes several markers that are clip fed, and Tiberus Arms makes a pistol/rifle kit that is fed by both 8 round clip and hopper. Tippmann just came out with a new pistol that they premiered at OK D-Day (very nice pistol btw). And i believe there are a few smaller companies that make custom mods. And Bob Long might make a tactical marker that is clip or hopper fed, i don't remember.

However! I've heard a few times that clip fed markers are more prone to jamming (in the clip) and breaks. This can be fixed though if you buy thick shelled paint. (JT Jungle paint works great i think)

Lazerus - Sucks for you. At that rate, i'd be breaking the law every month at least. I play paintball a lot, and I go shooting at our families range every now and then, with any thing from .22 and higher.

Stop meself there. Ive already been on post approval for this. learn from your mistakes you idiot.

I have two .21 atm and one of em is getting upgraded with a box spring, evil things. German model, keeping the orignal as is and the copy is being upgraded to .66 i think he said.

I will say my dad owns a BB rifle, which runs @ 320fps after market upgrading, single fire, 22clip, bolt action. fires .22 water soluable rounds -( for the enviroment) its in stapping orange and comes with, Acog, (cheaper model poo really...) Whisper, barrel extender, red dot, strap, collapsable stand, 5000 bb's
A pic of is gun in Dl.

A cookie to whoever can work out what the game that is nec tto the 360.

Started laying out the UV coodinates. As mentioned before, there's still a little smoothing and refining needed to be done to the mesh before I go any further

Looks good! I bet its a BT-4? Needs a foregrip.
I cant see how you placed the feedneck, but from this angle it looks like it goes straight down into the marker, when its actually on the right side. If you see what I mean

Good work anyways, we need to see more markers around here.
