Hi

After a lot of looking, have now found out how to make wood grain look image.

If you have Paint Shop Pro X then this is how.

1. open the image size you required.
2. Flood fill the image with color you require.
3. find Effects/Texture Effects/textures...
4. in the Texture box, click on the arrow to open Texture options.
5. scroll down to the bottom until you find wood grain(note the others textures)
6. change the image and light settings if you want.
7. click ok.
8. to make a seamless tile find Effects/Image Effect/Seamless tiling...
9. change the value until you have the effect you require.
10. click ok when done.

Now you should have something that looks like woood grain.

Do shout if you think I missed something.

How to make a wood grain or other type stencil.

1. find a picture of the grain or pattern you require.
2. convert it to grey scale.
3. then put it your \Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\Textures\Photo folder.
