I'll try a fresh install first... Maybe I messed it up somehow. Would be a shame to dig into it just to find out I messed it up.

Well on a brighter note I played your game and then saw how the enemies were reacting so I changed their script to work with my Dark AI zombie system and they were fantastic.

Also your game helped me notice that I forgot to take out some debug stuff (such as the 0 in the top left cornor and the log file that gets made).

By the way how are your guys fps?

@All : Has anyone tried the 3rd person collision?

FPS is hanging on a 39-40, and never goes higher or lower. So that's OK. And I'll try third person in a moment... First trying to get the rest to work.

Indeed, and also nice to read the zombies will work fine once you release that system. That would be a big help.

Oh, and I got it to work in some magical way. Guess the model pack setups messed it up somehow.

Well my video isn't working but I tested the DarkAI. I had some enemies and allies. The enemies followed me through(and around) buildings and a maze and were just a thousand times smarter and better looking than the normal AI system for FPSC. Allies followed me through the same things and fired on the enemies so they were great too. All in all amazing work hockeykid! Now I'll go try that 3rd person

You dont know how glad I am its out!!!
How is the "body function" suposed to work? Just asking Because Im develeopeing a armless/headless character to work as body.
Am I heading the right way? or you were intending to have it using regular character hand animations?

PS: Only 1 thing in Mod...decals are still too fast. Can you give it a try at slowing them down? if you dont Im fine with it its already a great mod.

Third person is a little dodgy but it works, no jumping animation(There's none available in FPSC), no running animation(This is fixable) and offcourse the thing you have to modify guns to make them work right.

FPS rates are holdin steady at 39-40 FPS. Tested on three different levels and in three different game developments we have going, all from simple levels to complex. It's a bonus now having smarter AI follow you around, give more realism to the game.

Cheers

Hockeykid, could you upload the FPSC-game all by itself, then a seperate DL in a diferent Download? Cause my DL stops at 95% wont go any more, then suddenly it finishes but it says its corrupt.
Sometimes that happens for me when I'm trying to Download .fpi's.
Please? Remember I did Donate so I think it would be nice

Are you going to keep the download up ? If so ill add the link to the first post as a second mirror.

@all everyone should notice that the weapons are (or should be ) bug free as I have fixed numerous bugs with them (skipping animations, not completing animation while in iron sight, weapon freezing etc)

Hockeykid, I was wondering, will you code it where the AI will rotate their arms upward or downward depending on where their enemies are?
If you dont know how (and you probably do) I'll post some example code

Hockeyman, I've finally tested your mod.
Im just speechless towards your modding skills.

But my questions are:
Are you considering slowing down decals.
I'll hapilly live with the Dark AI as I have it , but will you modify it in any way?

Alright hockeykid, give me a couple of minutes and I'll get something up
Also, I'm having bugs with the dark ai.
They dont go through wall segments, but they DO go through entities.
I have had some entity buildings in my game and they just walk right through them :/

{edit} It would be something like this, I'm not sure how to detect the players position, I'm working on that right now.

Err, Hockeykid, I just opened up the source for v1.16, but no matter if I open the map editor or the FPSC-game source I only get the map-editor source.
Whats going on?
I was going to work on figuring how to get if the player was above or below the enemy.

The map editor is merged with the FPSC-Game source code

Hockey, I think I'll start making my own mod with that as one of the features, then let you merge the mod after I've got a bunch of cool new stuff.
Does that sound good?

Probably the DarkAI Obstacle calculation so it takes up less dynamic memory when it can load static maps where they can walk or not.
