dbSetDisplayModeAntiAlias( 1024, 768, 32, 0, 1, 0 );
...is causing a compile error "identifier not found" for me under the latest 7.4 (with the 120809 fix)

Sample code:

@Omen Im about to uplaod my coding challenge entry, its using gdk 7.4 and is quite extensive...

its using anti aliasing without problems, so that is working... (although it does paste a sprite to the screen earlyish and turns off antialiasing, but thats another bug again)

@Techtress - I also have had problem with cloggy's lib under 7.4, but I also had problems with previous GDK version, and have actually pulled apart his DBPro source code and put it into my own class library which works with 7.4 ...

If it ain't broke.... DONT FIX IT !!!

There is no such function as "dbSetDisplayModeAntiAlias()" Your spelling is wrong.
It should be "dbSetDisplayModeAntialias()"

I see now, that D3DFunc was not working with the previous versions, I did not know. I have been using the nov-07 version for the longest time now and it works fine with that version.

I have not been using nov-08 and above due to some other bugs I was having.

Anyway Mista, I am glad you got the D3DFunc libs working. I would like to request if it is not too much trouble, you could post or e-mail instructions on how to modify them myself? or just send me the edited libs?

I have the source now. In the meantime I'll try and figure something out.

Thanks in advance!

Why are the Fog commands turned off in the newest version?
They do not work in my projects anymore!
Is there a way to turn them back on?
( except down-grading the gdk )

They say it's better to burn out, than it is to fade away...

Quote: "Memblock Images, has the format changed in relation to transparency ?"

Mista, have you arrived to any conclusion about this so far?
[EDIT: Sorry I didn't read the second page, reading now... Ok I read:

Quote: "in regards to my memblock image transparency issue, it appears that I was a little off base... the one member in that class I am using that doesnt actually create a memblock image was the one I was calling to test with, it captures straight from a bitmap instead.. although the transparency issue still exists, the captured image is solid in 7.3, transparent in 7.4."

Hmm, still not sure if that's related somehow to my issue ]

Basically, I still have the same problem that DGDK 7.3 was giving me, and I'm finding it hard to reproduce in an isolated sample , the problem is:

I have a ghosted plain (the sun halo), and then lots of ghosted instanced objects (the sun particles).
When the particles go thru the halo, they miss the ghosting.

All was ok in the previous versions. I recorded a video that is made by just replacing the new libraries with the old ones:

Also, what about the "__MACOSX" folder that is created with DGDK 7.4? Are we going to be able to compile for mac? That would be great news, no doubt

Mike, is there a list of the new function prototypes so I also bring the toolkit up to date?

Many thanks.
