Hi! I currently don't have a controller for games for my computer but I do have a Xbox 360 and a few wireless controllers. So I was thinking that I could buy a Xbox 360 Play and Charge kit and plug it into the copmuter. But before I go and do this I wanna know if it will work. I know that the wired controllers work and that there's a wireless receiver for a computer, but does a play and charge adapter work with a computer? Thanks!

It doesn't work. You have to get an actual wired controller. Play and Charge kit doesn't work.

Or seeing as you already have wireless 360 controller you can just buy the wireless adapter. It's cheaper than a wired controller and works perfectly. It's what I use.

Well that cost $45 for the cheapest one, so I think I'm gonna go with a used wired 360 controller for a nearby store.

Well that link was just to show you what it was. I bought one in Australia for $30 (aud) which is what $25? US...

BUt you can use your wired controller on the 360 so either way it's good for you

Yea apparently that wireless adapter is discontinued so it would be hard to find it cheap.

The wireless adapter is cool but I would go with the controller. It's just a few dollars more but you also have an extra controller to the addition.

Yea true... sadly xbox doesn't have many party games (I hate halo and I only find COD enjoyable online)
