Just Wondering Wether i Should Use Fpsc x9 or x10
Iv Been Using x9 For Some time Now and Iv Just Got Windows 7 And dx10
So Should I Spend My Time On x9 (Getting Very Good At) or x10

Well, posting in the x9 thread will obviously get you biased results, and so will posting in the x10 thread.

I'd recommend x9. It has mods.

x10 is great, but I think I would rather have a fast X9 with a DX10 Graphics Card then a normal/laggy x10 with the same card.

I'm scared of bugs. I mean that in more ways than one.

So many mods are dying out...

Anyways, I would go with x10. You can do a lot with it if you know about the engine.

I think X9 has a lot more customizability than X10, lots of models are MADE for X9, and most professional video game companies use X9 for next gen games. also, why is there always water on the ground in x10? I've seen a few too many flooded, over-bloomed, over "fillered" spaceships in X10.

don't get me wrong, X10 is nice, has better animations, particles and... well I'll go slightly better AI, but you can get better AI in x9, make animations yourself, and decals work okay.

I'd go with X9

That has nothing to do with the engine. That only has to do with the developer.

Thats EXACTLY What I Was Thinking
x10 Looks And Feels Better But Has No Mods Or Models ect
Were's x9 Isnt That Good Looking (Dont Know How To Use Them Weapon And Entity Shaders) But Has A Hell Of A Lota Mods And Custom Stuff.

They Kinda Cancel Each Other Out

If it wasnt for the mods dying out I would pick x9 but x10 is better for graphics,ai and effect control
