Hello all fellow forum members. This is mine and my friend's new project. We are going to make it in 24 hours. We started this 19:30 GMT +2 so we have been making this for about 5 hours now.

Here's the story:

Trevor Robinson is just a regular guy in a regular reporter's job. One day, he gets a hint from an unknown source that someone has seen ghosts in an old abandoned school building. Trevor won't believe this rubbish and he's going to the school just to prove that no such thing as ghosts exist.
But when he enters the old school building, he'll soon notice that something's not right.

I know. Not a very unique story but this is just a top of the iceberg. The story will get a lot deeper and it will have a huge twist.

Here is the feature list:

- 90% custom segment textures
- Small amount of custom decals
- Project Blue features like Airmod weapon physics and a very good framerate
- Unique story
- Everything is not like it looks like
- Readable diaries, memos, files and such
- Custom music
- Custom HUD
- You won't be seeing your ammunition. Only thing you see is your health

There's also a huge surprise which you propably haven't never seen in FPS Creator

I will be writing updates every hour so keep an eye on this thread if you are interested.

And of course, here is a screenshot of a class room. Enjoy.

Revelation leading to my psychosis and inspiration.

Cool! I like the idea of 24 hour project. Well that's gonna be some hard work (I think) and a lot coffee. You know, to keep you awake for the whole 24 hours...

Ekipshi: Thanks!

Metal Devil123: No, not coffee. LOTS of energy drink

Armageddon Games: I don't understand. What idea? The 24 hours or the school theme? We are making this just for fun, not to steal others ideas.

Chill out, relax, take it easy, have some .
The title doesn't have 24 hours in it, it's the amount of time he's set to build this game But, so what if it did?

Ah yeah I think you have misunderstood us, Armageddon. The game's name is NOT 24 hours. What I'm trying to say that we are making this in 24 hours.

Still you are riding off of what KravenWolf was doing with his Nazi Zombies game-- around the clock work-- but still -- go original

The game itself is still original Arma, you can't really copy someone else's..production ideas?

Ah yeah that. Forgot about that . Well this is just for fun and test. We originally planned to do 48 hours project but school starts on Monday so no can do.

No hard feelings, eh?

Ekipshi: Exactly. It's really interesting to see how we can develop this game on the last hours. We'll be propably falling asleep every once in a while

You should've gone to Starbucks first and loaded up (do they have Starbucks in Finland? They're everywhere here.)

Anyways, good luck. I like what I see so far but the textures for the chairs seems a little amateur compared to everything else.

Haha! Armageddon Games, you realise KravenWolf's game was hardly the pinnacle of originality, considering it was in your words, 'riding off' the CoD5 Nazi Zombie game?

Looking good, Juzi. Looking forward to the final game.

Braden 713: Thank you! Nope, coffee is too lame for this kind of task. Energy drink is the way to go!

Coach Shogun 20: No we don't have Starbucks here in Finland (as far as I know). The chair textures are actually pretty decent, the screenshot doesn't do justice for that.

Paul112: Thanks

To everyone: All the custom segments made for this project will be published for FREE.

Coach Shogun 20: I'm living on Espoo (about 20 kilometres from Helsinki, the capital of Finland in case you don't know.) We have here almost same thing as Starbucks, but it's just named Robert's Coffee. There's one on every corner.

But back in thread..

OMFG, my head is exploding. I've been doing textures like 7 hours now.. straight. I only took shower like hour ago, but I think we can pull this out before deadline. Even though my eyes are almost looking like this: " ". Oh well.. Clock is ticking. We need to continue.

You think so?

You can't copyright the fact that a day = 24 hours, nor can you copyright the idea of making a game in that time...

Quit complaining, cos this looks good...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Haha no kidding, energy drinks really are the way to go I suppose

@ CoffeeGrunt: Oh pshh, man just last week, I copyrighted gravity and about 6 other laws of physics. Get with the times

And thanks Juzi! As stated above, can never have enough segments

Sorry for the lack of updates. We actually went to sleep for a couple of hours, we are not machines you know

EDIT: I have to go off of my friend because he has personal things to do. We still have 10 hours left, and we'll use those hours next week.

Hey guys! We're back from our little "vacation" from this project. We still have 10 hours left and we are going to use them wisely (hopefully.

Metal Devil: Yes we will

Armageddon Games: Hope to see you online on msn soon!

Arctek: Yup, I've seen it. Probably going to use it.

To everyone: My partner (artist of the game) is somewhere in Finland doing his own things so what I need now is two things:

1: Menu, loading screens etc. art.
2: One voice actor. 30 years old man (you don't have to be 30, you just have to sound mature)

If you are interested, send me an e-mail or add me on MSN: juz_the_dude(at)hotmail(dot)com

Okay sorry guys but this project has been cancelled, the level that is ready at the moment is kinda bad and there isn't enough time to make a new level not to mention the second level.

This thread can now be locked. Thanks

Yeah sorry guys. The result just wasn't good in my opinion. And the school idea was getting kinda boring. I MIGHT finish it some day in the future while I'm making Vague rebirth.

Well.. as I knew almost from the start, my coder gave up. I'm not accusing him or anything, coding (especially from scratch) is very demanding and time consuming. So this means that I'm going to make Vague with FPSC. The "hook" of the project is that everything (except coding and some scripts) will be custom. Models, segments, door, windows, music, sounds, everything (got a Dejá Vu here, have I already told this some time? )
