will the fps creator work on vista? im not talking about hte x10 version but the origonal "classic" version.

Yes, x9 will work just fine on vista. Make sure that you disable UAC first though.

just disable UAC. berry simple

ok 2 things now.
First thing is how do i get it to work with uac on and
second, im getting DXVersionError when i try to start, do i have to have a directx 9 to play or can i have the direct x10 on the x9 version as i dont want to get the x10 (would be to laggy for me) but i really dont want to make my direct x card an older version

Just run the program with administrative privileges.

(Right click -> Run as administrator)
(or change the settings to always run as administrator)

ok good i've tried that and ive heard it should work but right now it says DXVersionError, im using dx10 is that a problem?

You have to install direct x 9, it won't interfere with your x10 installation. I think my directx goes back as far as 6 or 5, and x10 still works fine.
