Hi

My new website and software are due to be released anytime soon including a gallery section. I'd really like to include a comments / user reviews / marks out of 10 kinda bit to it.

I know html and javascript inside out but have no real clue about php or cgi - can anyone recommend some good learning or script resources to help me quickly put something like this together?

Kinda like I would post articles, demos, screenshots or whatever and then people could add detailed user comments / reviews and it would take an average score, like on Amazon or Download.com

I'm not asking for someone to do it for me, but any recommended links or open-source / free links would be great!

Thanks, Sam / K2

I have a CGI Perl book that's pretty decent but I wouldn't learn it anyway, it's a pretty old and redundant language that won't be used much in the future.

PHP is the way to go and I learned from http://www.adultnetsurprise.com/learningzone/php/php_index.html - As long as you can look past the fact that it's hosted on a porn site, it's a logically ordered tutorial that sure helped me when I was learning.

You'll find what you want there, for sure.
