Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if this is possible in any way.
I want to make multiplayer maps but here is the catch.
They are like bugs in comparison to the map. The map is
normal size in the editor though. I don't want to supersize
the map scale to 1000 times the map size... I want to make
the character smaller to make a type of "toy army men" feel.

I have a picture of what I'm talking about:

Thanks

Not possible without source code editing, the weapons would be too large probably then too.

You can scale the weapons and or make smaller pick-ups?

You could make custom segments and scale up all the environmental entities to make the player appear smaller.

That would take a good while though...

Can't you player scale? I thought it was in one of the updates.

The screenshot you showed is indeed a map scaled upwards. That's the way developers make the player feel small in all games which make the player feel small.

The map would be quite little than, if you want more than one room. Idea is good tought.

lol, they do that with the quake engine (Such as cod1 - 6 , urban terror, Quake as the default part)

I dont think it is possible unless you made the models yourself and made them huge with very low texture, same for the segments

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's taller than 600x120

Hmmmm....

Maybe if you edited the FOV, it would make the player look smaller?

But player height and the size of the player isn't editable I think... :S

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

EASY DONE WITH PLYSMOD Project Blue - Making new cam, and attach the cam to a entity weapon.

Or make a simple mod that scales the level up, this however causing texture stretching as result... meaning you need to use VERY high res. textures... But it can be done that way, IF you also scale the player start locations and weapons spawns etc. up though.

It's not the world that turns against you, it's you that turns against the world.

If you want to do it in FPSC then you would definitely have to do it via making all your own custom walls and objects. I don't understand what the talk is about weapon pickups because that would remain the same, just as BMacZero suggested. Granted It would take a while but it is definitely achiveable.

Don't just say No it can't be done. Think outside the box.

@Astek: Well if you make a cam do all the work.Like If you press WASD it would move, and alsoMouse, and Shoot and everything is prossible (wich is). Then just apply a scaled weapon, and scaled ammo for the player to use, add you scripts, so if near it will add to inventory (also possible in plysmod) and then it would rase the ammo quantity (possible) and it would arm your cam with gun (possible). So basicaly with scripting it is possible to do this.

But if this is a mutlyplayer game, you will have a hard time on getting this into Arena mode, anyway it is possible.

Good luck.

EDIT: You can also make a Skybox. and then just a part of where the player goes, scale that up. So less things to scale.
