if there is no registry changes just extract it with winrar and copy it the dbp folder

i haven't used patch 5 cause i have no use for direct x 9 and don't see a reason to upgrade. but that way should work.

Have you tried uninstalling what you currently have and reinstall DBPro from CD and then reinstall upgrade 5?

Some people are trying to install upgrade 5 release, over upgrade 5 beta and it will not work that way.

The upgrade wont work if the registry enteries are corrupt, or, for example you copy the DBPro directory from one computer to another without using the installation routine.

it also will not work if you don`t have dx9.0b, you NEED DX9.0b, it is not recomended, it is required, you may also need the latest graphics card driver for your card, in other words, it will crash if you don`t have up to date drivers and Directx.

I dont want this technology to go so fast, unless the next 1 up is an add on.
Technology is moving too fast!!!
