Hi! I have a test example and was curious how other people fair with it. It should work with any type of XBox360 Controller device that you can hook up to your PC. This probably will require the DirectX March 2009 version for it to work.

The program is in rar format and attached.

Thanks!

This is my W.I.P. page if you want to get the library for DBPro and/or Dark GDK

Cool, have not tried it yet but this would be a life saver.

I actually give up on DarkGDK for a while because of its lack of support for controllers (dual analog) but now I am exited again.

Here's a boring looking picture of what the program looks like. It just shows values of the xbox360 controllers functionality.

That's cool to hear, matty!

I'm anxious to see what you and others make with the library. I've always wanted to do a top down 3d shooter with the 360 gamepad. Someday.

No problem. I know there is a wireless adapter for the pc for the wireless controllers. Might be worth a shot.

I was wondering if you would allow this to be used in the "open source project", I still have not tried it, it was a priority on my last project but now I am concentrating on DOSP.

Just wanted to ask in case we need something like this down the line.

Hi matty. Yes, it's free to use for whatever you want, commercial or non-commercial. It does come with a creative commons license attached to it in which is basically just a creditware type of license. Links to the license are included in the html document and in it' current W.I.P. forum thread.

Thanks Todd, thats pretty cool, I'll make sure that whoever works on "input" knows about this.
