Model Pack 32 has been released today.

The Office Pack comprises of 75 entities (including laptops, lamps, chairs, tables, pictures), 4 high rise buildings, plus 21 full segment rooms. With this pack the possibilities are endless for creating interior based games, whether serious business simulations, or FPS games based in a business/office environment.

Awesome, these packs just keep popping outta the woodwork, don't they?

Might grab this...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

I seriously wonder if they don't just have a basement filled with Japanese people pumping out more packs.

I don't really like the floor textures shown in that first shot, they don't appear to be seamless. A lot of the textures look a bit 'flat' as well, like the chairs/tables.

Other than those niggles, nice pack with an original theme.

No, they have a basement filled with Chinese children they kidnapped from the shoe factory.

Anyway, this pack looks like those old packs... Like model pack 2 or like that in my opinion.

Nice! I bet you could use this for an "insomniac" museum like in Ratchet and Clank

First thing that came to mind...

Yeah, they look like real knee bangers.

Did you hear the music in the youtube video! That alone ensures a bestseller.

Anyway, looks great but I'm going to agree Veron. The textures do look a bit flat and there is an area of 'carpet' where there is an obvious seam.

Anyway, FPSC really lacks this type of segment, so you may have a buyer.

Looks really good,
first office type pack that I know of. Generic enough to go into lots of games. Yeah, I agree need to scale the desks to match the chairs but, that's easy enough. Cool.

Yeah, I'm one of those chinese kids.
Anyways, this pack looks pretty good, wouldn't be up top on my list though, I'm pretty sure some of those are pretty easy to make.
Tanya, looking forward to your review, you've been a big spender lately haven't you?

You read my mind >:}! They do look good, but I'm afraid that I don't have a level to do with offices in my current game lol.

So much for "for sure", but I will remember next time.

I can wait.

Quote: "the segments in this pack is really super plain... on the scale of 1 to 10 i give this pack a 5 for effort."

I'd have to know who the artist was and how much experience they have to rate the effort.
Even plain segments could take a lot of effort if someone's just starting out.
Nice review though, and now we know to expect some really plain segments. lol
Thanks Tanya

Most offices are plain though, so we just have to stick up some "Safety First!" and worker's rights posters to dress those walls up.
It looks like they supplied a few modern art paintings for us though, so it still looks like fun.

Dang!

The pack looks alright, but the ratings..

I bet you guys can use a seamless texture generator, and repair all the textures...

I am surprised the artist didnt do this himself.

I think the problem with the segment textures maybe down to the lightmapping. If you look at the floor segments they do line up.

The pack does look good and would be useful for those CS type levels.

It should be noted that the size of this model pack is only 15MB. Normally, I expect a model pack to be about 45MB and even up to 75MB. I knew not to expect much when I saw how small it really was.

this model pack
isn't great compare to the other mp

most of the model are just a few boxs and a throw on texture

most beginners would be able to match this

but it is about time a office pack came out

best of luck

Mods are just volunteers that do this in their spare time of their own free will. They get nothing in return for it from TGC, besides Mod powers and maybe more respect from the community(The FPSC mods were picked by the Community if I am correct though, there was a voting topic about that quite some time ago.).

The quality of the FPSC model packs have been getting progressively worse...

It seems as if TGC's business plan is based off quantity, not quality.

Ya. If you haven't noticed, they come out with a new one every month. I think that was their plan, to make a large quantity of model packs to get people thinkng. But tbh, I would rather wait a little while longer, say 2 months, and have a really good model pack. Not saying this one's bad, I do think the creator put some time into it, but I also believe if they put a little more time into polishing it up there would be many more buyers.

If you guys don't like what you see then don't buy. Simple as that.

I understand that one can complain if a model pack is somehow broken but the price tag on these are REALLY excellent compared to what you normally pay for 3D content. 20$ for any collection of reasonable quality models are peanuts. Wake up in the real world if you don't get this.

Running my latest game superbly on FPSC and Project Blue Mod.
